Friends of Brookfield

The ‘Friends of Brookfield’ are all of us; we are the family, carers, teachers and school children of Brookfield Primary School. Everyone with a child, grandchild, niece, nephew or cousin at this school is a valued ‘Friend of Brookfield’.

We are a committee of volunteers who rely on the contribution and enthusiasm of the school community to really make a difference. In the past, the ‘Friends of Brookfield’ have made over £12,000 a year which has been spent on playground equipment, iPods and iPads, digital cameras and subsidies for school trips.

We are always looking for volunteers to contribute in any way they can. Even a couple of hours a year to help with planning or organising an event will really make a difference. We understand that busy family lives make it hard to find time to spare, but no contribution is too small. If you are not available to help plan or run an event, you can always help in other ways, such as sending in items for raffle prizes, contributing to mufti days and attending fayres with your family.

Please contact Mrs Langford or Mrs Swain (parents) if you would like to get involved. New members are always welcome and we look forward to hearing your fundraising ideas. See our newsletters and calendar for more information about forthcoming events.
