7 of our basketballers took part in the Year 6 Basketball Competition yesterday, at the David Weir Centre. They played fantastically well, especially considering the heat, and emerged victorious!

GO TEAM! Miss Morley and Mrs Head were so proud of you - what a brilliant achievement for your last week at Brookfield!

Year 1 have a wild encounter

{Recordset1.news_hline}

Pupils in Year 1 had some extraordinary visitors in school yesterday. The children have been learning about human and animal bodies, and had a 'wild' demonstration of some different animal body types.

Guests included a pair of stick insects, a corn snake, millipede, giant african snail, rat and even a tarantula!

The children were able to touch and even hold some of the animals, and had a fantastic afternoon! Well done to Miss Dimmick for organising such a brilliant experience.
